(13 News) &#8211; For the second time in little more than a month, authorities responded to a high-speed fatal crash at Valencia and Country Club in Tucson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On Friday, April 10, at least one person was killed in a multiple vehicle crash at the intersection. According to security video obtained by 13 News, two speeding vehicles caused the horrific crash around 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">One of the speeding vehicles, a dark blue or black sedan, appeared to have fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Critical injuries in Tucson crash near Valencia, Country Club\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/JJSIGQ7AGVGP3L3RSLWGDZJHA4.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Critical injuries in Tucson crash near Valencia, Country Club<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The accident resulted in a silver car being cut in half and at least one person being killed. A 13 News photographer at the scene saw a child\u2019s car seat in the silver vehicle and children\u2019s clothing and toys strewn across the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Another vehicle, a white sedan, was seen with front-end damage. It is unclear if anyone in that vehicle was injured.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"A bicyclist was nearly killed by flying debris following a crash at Valencia and Country Club...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/MM7EHCJ2EFA6BCHESS3YRFO3RE.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"729\" \/>A bicyclist was nearly killed by flying debris following a crash at Valencia and Country Club in Tucson on Friday, April 10.(13 News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A bicyclist was nearly hit and killed by debris from the crash, but the TPD said the rider should be fine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On March 1, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kold.com\/2026\/03\/02\/tucson-police-investigating-deadly-crash-near-valencia-country-club\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.kold.com\/2026\/03\/02\/tucson-police-investigating-deadly-crash-near-valencia-country-club\/\">three people were killed, and another suffered life-threatening injuries<\/a> in a crash at the intersection that the Tucson Police Department said was caused by street racers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">While at the scene, a 13 News photographer saw a memorial to the people killed on March 1 right next to the carnage of Friday\u2019s accident.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"The debris from Friday's fatal accident at Valencia and Country Club rests next to the...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/spain\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/KMBLFWA42RAFDM3RS5Y7CZKG34.jpg\" width=\"980\" height=\"623\" \/>The debris from Friday&#8217;s fatal accident at Valencia and Country Club rests next to the memorial for the three victims killed there on March 1.(13 News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In that accident, 20-year-old Ashtyn Vandersloot, 20-year-old Antonio Olalde, and 18-year-old Grace Hobbs died. Vandersloot was the driver, and according to his toxicology report, he was drunk (.113 BAC) and had marijuana in his system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Olalde (.108 BAC) and Hobbs (.139 BAC) were also legally drunk, according to their reports. Olalde also had cocaine in his system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The TPD said Vandersloot was likely racing another vehicle, and authorities are asking for help to find the other vehicle, which has not been identified.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The TPD has asked for help identifying this vehicle and individual.
