Banco Santander, S.A. (NYSE:SAN) provides banking, financing, investment, and insurance services to individuals, businesses, and public institutions. The company offers lending, wealth management, payments, and digital banking. Cramer discussed the company\u2019s business plans in the US during the February 4 episode, as he commented:<\/p>\n

This morning, we got excellent full-year results from Banco Santander, the Spanish banking powerhouse with the stock that\u2019s charged 142% over the past 12 months. A bank. We also learned that they\u2019re buying Webster Financial. It\u2019s a community bank based in Connecticut, a real good one. It\u2019s all part of their plan to dominate the northeastern United States. I think this one\u2019s on track to become one of the most profitable banks in the world, marching steadily towards their goal of 20% return on tangible equity by 2028. Wow.<\/p>\n
