The Jags scored the opening goal of the match to take a 1-0 lead, and they didn\u2019t look back from there. They added to their lead throughout the first half to finish with a 3-0 lead going into the halftime break.<\/p>\n
From there, Spain Park left little doubt as it stepped on the gas and finished strong. The Jags racked up five goals in the second half to secure the 8-0 victory and book a spot in the playoffs.<\/p>\n
Libby Gray led the way for Spain Park with a hat trick of three goals. Six total goal-scorers found the back of the net for the Jags, including a goal apiece for Morgan Anthony, Addison Bayne, Cadence Leemon, Priscilla Thornton and Mitchell Leib.<\/p>\n
Spain Park improved to 7-8-3 overall and 4-2 in area play with the win. The Jags will finish the regular season on Monday, April 20 at 5:30 p.m. on the road at Indian Springs School. From there, they will head to Helena to face the Huskies in the first round on Friday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
Pelham dropped to 9-11-2 and 0-6 in area play. While the Panthers are eliminated from playoff contention, they have two chances to finish the season strong.
