Sheriff\u2019s deputies on Monday captured the man suspected of placing his penis<\/a> on the face of a Whole Foods Market shopper<\/a> in a twisted sexual assault caught on horrifying in-store video.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s deputies arrested Jared Paul Estrada, 28, of Valencia, for allegedly committing the sick crime that horrified patrons of the Valencia location of the upscale supermarket.<\/p>\n

Officers collared Estrada in Huntington Beach without incident, said Sgt. Juan Murrales of the sheriff\u2019s Santa Clarita Valley Station<\/a>, which is investigating the case. Estrada is being held on charges of indecent exposure and sexual battery, Murrales said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough an extensive investigation, the detective bureau, along with the station special team, was able to track down the suspect related to that caper today in Huntington Beach,\u201d said Murrales.<\/p>\n

The sick tale began on March 23, when a woman shopping at the Valencia\u00a0Whole Foods<\/a>\u00a0was assaulted by a bearded weirdo who exposed himself to her in a perverted act that was captured on the store\u2019s security camera<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On March 23, a woman shopping at the Valencia\u00a0Whole Foods<\/a>\u00a0was subjected to a man who exposed himself to her \u2014\u00a0an act that was caught on the store\u2019s security camera<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Estrada is charged with sexual battery and indecent exposure. <\/p>\n

Authorities with the LASD sought the public\u2019s assistance in identifying the individual shown in the video \u2013 and members of the public identified Estrada, said Murrales.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the public\u2019s help, we were able to identify the suspect,\u201d said Murrales. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0Representatives for Whole Foods did not immediately respond to a request for comment.<\/p>\n

In a statement issued on the incident last month, a Whole Foods spokesperson said, \u201cWe are deeply concerned about the incident that occurred at our Valencia store on March 23.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are cooperating fully with the Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Department in their investigation,\u201d the statement continued. \u201cWe have provided all requested information to law enforcement.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sheriff\u2019s department said in a statement that, at this time, investigators are not aware of any additional related incidents in the Santa Clarita area<\/p>\n
