Rabat \u2013 Ahead of Barcelona\u2019s league match against Celta Vigo, coach Hansi Flick stressed that his connection with the club goes beyond the current season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He spoke<\/a> about ambition, continuity, and unfinished work, stressing that his main target is winning the Champions League with Barcelona.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy biggest dream is to win the Champions League with Barcelona,\u201d Flick said, adding that he believes the squad has the quality to reach that level while pointing to the potential of a young group that is still developing.<\/p>\n

His comments came just days after Barcelona\u2019s painful elimination from Europe. The Catalans beat Atl\u00e9tico Madrid 2\u20111 away in the second leg of their quarter\u2011final, but the earlier 2\u20110 home defeat meant elimination on aggregate.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flick also mentioned a second personal goal. He wants to lead Barcelona in the fully redeveloped Camp Nou, a sign that he sees himself staying long enough to be part of the club\u2019s next chapter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While the team has already returned to Spotify Camp Nou, the wider renovation remains a symbol of Barcelona\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

On his own future, Flick insisted that renewal is part of his plan, even if he does not want to turn the moment into a contract story.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He described Barcelona as a family environment, praised the atmosphere around the squad, and suggested this could be the final stage of his coaching career.<\/p>\n

The German coach joined Barcelona in June\u202f2024, signing a contract until June\u202f2026 after leaving his post as Germany\u2019s national team coach.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Since taking charge of the Catalan club, Flick has guided them to the 2024\u202fSpanish\u202fSuper\u202fCup and the 2025\u202fLa\u202fLiga\u202ftitle, restoring stability and competitiveness after a turbulent period.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His record in domestic competitions has been strong, with the team leading La\u202fLiga again this season and showing renewed attacking balance.<\/p>\n

Barcelona remains strong domestically. They lead La Liga with 79 points from 31 matches, nine ahead of Real Madrid.
