Pippa Middleton returned to Wimbledon for the first time in two years on Monday. The younger sister of the Princess of Wales joined their mother, Carole Middleton, in the Royal Box on day eight of the Grand Slam tournament, where they were seated behind eight-time Wimbledon champ Roger Federer. The Middletons and Federer go back years: he and his wife, Mirka, attended Pippa’s 2017 wedding to James Matthews.

Pippa had the picture perfect Wimbledon outfit, dressed for the occasion in Reformation’s Naira dress in white with a red flower print. She paired it with white heels, Jimmy Choo sunglasses, a cream panama hat with a red ribbon by British milliner Lock & Co. Hatters, and a J. Crew raffia clutch bag. Carole also opted for Wimbledon whites in a ME+EM maxi dress layered with a blue linen blazer.

Pippa’s last Wimbledon appearance was also her most notable in recent memory. In 2024, she attended the men’s singles final alongside Kate and niece Princess Charlotte in what was one of Kate’s first public outings since disclosing she had been undergoing cancer treatment. The raffia clutch she carried into the Royal Box on Monday appeared to be the same one she brought to Wimbledon in 2024.

Public appearances have been relatively infrequent for Pippa in the time since. She was not present at Kate’s Christmas Carol service at Westminster Abbey in December. Carole, however, has been more publicly visible. She was spotted in the Royal Box at Royal Ascot last month, attending alongside Kate and James Middleton’s wife, Alizée Thevenet.
