It was a double dose of Bridgerton royalty at Wimbledon as India Amarteifio and Golda Rosheuvel attended the grass court Grand Slam at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Monday.
The actresses, who each play Queen Charlotte at different periods of her life in Netflix’s Queen Charlotte and Bridgerton series, were in Evian’s VIP suite on day eight of the tournament. Rosheuvel went for a Wimbledon whites-inspired look in a maxi dress by British label ME + EM while Amarteifio wore an off-shoulder dress in robin’s egg blue.

Amarteifio plays a young Queen Charlotte in the Bridgerton spinoff Queen Charlotte, which premiered in 2023, while Rosheuvel plays the queen consort in her later years in Bridgerton, which first aired in 2020. Season five of Bridgerton is currently filming in the UK. It still remains to be seen if Netflix plans to make a second season of Queen Charlotte, although showrunner Shonda Rhimes hasn’t ruled it out entirely.
However, while Rosheuvel told People earlier this year that it was “wonderful” her character’s backstory was explored in the spinoff, she has not expressed explicit interest in a second season of Queen Charlotte. “I don’t know personally whether I want another Queen Charlotte spinoff,” Rosheuvel told the publication. “I’d like another character’s spinoff. I think there’s a lot of scope to delve into other characters’ prequel origin stories.”
