It’s a Wimbledon week for the Middleton family: After taking in the tennis from the Royal Box yesterday with her daughter Pippa, Carole Middleton was back for another day at the All England Lawn Tennis Club—this time, with husband Michael. The Princess of Wales’s parents were photographed arriving before today’s quarterfinal matches began. Michael wore a light-colored blazer, while Carole chose a floral ME+EM dress.

Carole also turned to the British brand yesterday, wearing a white ME+EM maxi dress layered with a blue linen blazer.

Carole and Michael are regular attendees at the Grand Slam, and their daughter, Kate, is the royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club. For the past few years, the Princess of Wales has only attended the finals, but she made a surprise appearance last week on day four to watch two British players in action on the side courts.
“Wimbledon… was very much part of my growing up,” Kate said in a 2017 BBC documentary, On Wimbledon, about the tournament. “It’s such a quintessential part of the English summer, and I think it really inspires youngsters; it inspired me when I was younger to get involved in the game.”
In that same documentary, the Princess discussed an embarrassing moment she had with her dad at the tournament. “My father is not going to appreciate this, but we were walking past Tim Henman and we had just seen [Pete] Sampras play,” she says. “My dad said very coolly, ‘Hi Pete!’ I was mortified!”
