Serena and Venus Williams have been will handed a wild card to enter the US Open.
The sisters played together at the Cincinnati Open earlier this month and will return to Grand Slams at the venue they made their last major outing as a pair in 2022.

Serena returned from a four-year hiatus during the grass court swing, but suffered a knee injury in a first-round loss at Wimbledon.
The 44-year-old and older sister Venus then withdrew from doubles action.
Venus turned 46 in June but has been fairly active in recent years, appearing regularly in singles and doubles on the WTA Tour this season
The sisters have won 14 Major titles and three Olympic gold medals as a pairing.

Two of those victories came at Flushing Meadows — in 1999 and 2009.
Their opening match is set to be on September 3 or 4.
Serena appeared with Carlos Alcaraz in the mixed doubles tournament on Tuesday and won a thrilling first-round match before falling in the quarter-finals.
“I never expected to be back on this court,” Williams said after their win. “I never thought this would happen.”
Venus Williams could be heading for retirement
Venus will also play in the singles via a wild card, but Serena will not after the last one was handed to Sofia Kenin.
She has lost 14 consecutive singles matches and Serena’s coach Rennae Stubbs thinks the elder sister will retire soon.

“I am going to let Venus [Williams] decide when she wants to retire, and I am going to let the tournaments decide when they don’t want to give her a wildcard,” she said on the The Rennae Stubbs Tennis Podcast.
“She still puts bums on seats, she still sells, and people love to see her play.
“Until the tournament decides that somebody else is more important to give a wild card to, that’s up to them.
“I am going to be really honest with you. I was on the tennis court with her earlier today practicing, and I have never seen someone out there who loves tennis so much. She is practicing for hours and hours.
“If you think she is just rocking up and playing and not putting the work in, you are sorely wrong. She was out there for almost three hours today.
“She is putting the effort in; she is working hard. I think we should appreciate her while we have her. I don’t think it’s going to be much longer.”
