With the US Open officially underway, Morgan Riddle has opened up about her romance with Taylor Fritz.
Fritz, a former US Open finalist and the current world No. 10, dated Riddle for roughly six years before they went their separate ways. Speculation about their breakup really ramped up prior to the French Open in May.
“After nearly six years together, Riddle ended the relationship with the tennis star, a source tells PEOPLE on Saturday, April 25. A different source tells PEOPLE, however, that the split was mutual,” the outlet reported.
Riddle spoke to Elle in June about her breakup with Fritz. Although she said they were “on good terms,” she vowed to never date a professional athlete again.
“I made, like, a 33-point non-negotiables list for [my next relationship]. It has basic things like political alignment, shared life goals, intellectual intimacy, no sports betting or gambling, only makes my life happier,” Riddle told ELLE.

Earlier this week, Riddle spoke to PEOPLE about her dating life now that she has moved on from her relationship with Fritz.
Despite being one of the most popular influencers at the US Open right now, Riddle said she’s “not involved” in the New York dating scene.
Taylor Fritz might already have a new girlfriend.
Prior to the start of the 2026 US Open, people spotted Fritz out in public with Olivia Jade, the daughter of infamous Hollywood star Lori Loughlin.
“Sources close to the situation tell TMZ … they have been hanging out on a romantic level recently. We’re told they are taking things slow and enjoying their time together,” they reported. “The pair was spotted together in New York City over the weekend, with eyewitnesses telling us Taylor picked Olivia up Saturday at her place. From there, we’re told, the two headed to Taylor’s hotel, where they were photographed arriving together.”
Who knows? Maybe she’ll be Fritz’s good luck charm in New York.
