As the fall season nears its end, the Gators have fallen short across three tournaments.

Seniors Kevin Edengren and Henry Jefferson represented Florida at the Dragonridge Open on Oct. 26-28 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Edengren opened his tournament strong, beating American Corey Craig in the first round, 6-4, 7-6(3). The Swede was then shut out in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1, by Romanian freshman Luca Preda.

Jefferson was eliminated in the first round of the qualifying draw, 7-5, 6-2, by Serbian junior Milos Mikovic.

Six days later, Edengren traveled to the Lone Star State to represent the Gators at the M25 Harlingen in Harlingen, Texas. In the first round of the singles main draw, the Gator made quick work of American Prathinav Chunduru in a 6-2 straight-set win. He was later defeated by American Hunter Heck, 6-4, 7-5.

Jefferson and freshman Alaa Trifi wrapped up the final ITA tournament of the fall season at the ITA South Sectional Championships in Tallahassee, Florida, on Thursday. Jefferson went first and fell to Auburn graduate Tyler Bowers 6-3, 6-4. Trifi then faced Florida State freshman Mikail Alimli and fell 6-4, 6-2.

Florida looks to bounce back in the UTR PTT Boca Raton tournament on Monday at the Rick Macci Academy and Tennis Center in Boca Raton, Florida. Senior Jeremy Jin, junior Francesco Cordova, sophomore Andreas Timini and freshman Chen Ye will all represent Florida in the last fall season tournament.
