A competitive first set went Bublik&#8217;s way, as he outplayed Struff in the tie-break to put himself in the driver&#8217;s seat.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/jan-lennard-struff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Struff<\/a> responded by taking the second set to level the proceedings. Bublik took control of the match once again, breaking the German&#8217;s serve twice in the third set to register a 7-6 (3), 3-6, 6-2 win.<\/p>\n<p>Mpetshi Perricard fought past lucky loser <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportskeeda.com\/player\/roman-safiullin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" data-is-sponsored=\"false\">Roman Safiullin<\/a> in three sets to reach the second round, where he was up against qualifier Gauthier Onclin. The first set went down to the wire, but the Frenchman dominated the ensuing tie-break to take the set.
