It was a double dose of Bridgerton royalty at Wimbledon<\/a> as India Amarteifio and Golda Rosheuvel attended the grass court Grand Slam at the All England Lawn Tennis Club on Monday.<\/p>\n

The actresses, who each play Queen Charlotte<\/a> at different periods of her life in Netflix\u2019s Queen Charlotte and Bridgerton<\/a> series, were in Evian\u2019s VIP suite on day eight of the tournament. Rosheuvel went for a Wimbledon whites-inspired look in a maxi dress by British label ME + EM<\/a> while Amarteifio wore an off-shoulder dress in robin\u2019s egg blue.<\/p>\n

Amarteifio plays a young Queen Charlotte in the Bridgerton spinoff Queen Charlotte, which premiered in 2023, while Rosheuvel plays the queen consort in her later years in Bridgerton, which first aired in 2020. Season five of Bridgerton<\/a> is currently filming in the UK. It still remains to be seen if Netflix plans to make a second season of Queen Charlotte<\/a>, although showrunner Shonda Rhimes hasn\u2019t ruled it out entirely<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, while Rosheuvel told People<\/a> earlier this year that it was \u201cwonderful\u201d her character\u2019s backstory was explored in the spinoff, she has not expressed explicit interest in a second season of Queen Charlotte. \u201cI don\u2019t know personally whether I want another Queen Charlotte spinoff,\u201d Rosheuvel told the publication. \u201cI\u2019d like another character\u2019s spinoff. I think there’s a lot of scope to delve into other characters\u2019 prequel origin stories.\u201d<\/p>\n
