In an upcoming Prime documentary on Novak Djokovic,<\/a> Andre Agassi has the highest of praise for the Serbian tennis legend.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody can touch what he\u2019s accomplished,\u201d Agassi says in the upcoming feature-length film NOVAK DJOKOVIC: The Wolf in Winter. \u201cHe\u2019s the best of all-time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Agassi, the eight-time Grand Slam champion and part-time TNT tennis analyst, briefly coached Djokovic from May 2017 until March 2018.<\/p>\n

The new film is scheduled to premiere globally on Aug, 20 and \u201coffers a deep dive into the life and career of the 24-time major champion,\u201d per TennisNow.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s directed by Jason Hehir, who also directed the 10-episode series on Michael Jordan, The Last Dance, and features interviews with tennis legends Agassi, Rafael Nadal and Pete Sampras as well as tennis journalists Mary Carillo, Howard Bryant, Christopher Clarey and Matt Futterman<\/p>\n

Djokovic emerged from war-torn Serbia as an outsider in a tennis world dominated by Nadal and Roger Federer and eventually eclipsed them both with a record-tying 24 Grand Slam titles. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou need to be elegant and sophisticated to play the game,\u201d says his wife Jelena in the film. \u201cAnd you need to be the chosen one. Novak was not the chosen one.\u201d<\/p>\n

Said Djokovic himself: \u201cThere are days when I feel like I\u2019m the best, there are days where I\u2019m doubting myself a lot. How long should I do this? Why am I putting myself and my family through this over and over again? The No. 1 doubter is here, and I\u2019m trying to prove myself wrong more than anybody else.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople think you\u2019ve achieved so many great things and now you should enjoy. I cannot enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Djokovic is coming off a semifinal loss to eventual champion Jannik Sinner <\/a>at Wimbledon. He has not won a major title since the 2023 U.S. Open, but repeatedly reaches the semis and finals of Grand Slams before running into Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz.<\/p>\n
