World No.4 Alexander Zverev and World No.6 Alex de Minaur have confirmed they will represent Team Europe and Team World respectively at the ninth edition of the Laver Cup, to be held at The O2 in London from September 25\u201327, 2026.<\/p>\n

Zverev and de Minaur will add to an already star-studded lineup that includes Australian Open Champion and World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz (Team Europe) and World No.8 Taylor Fritz (Team World).<\/p>\n

A six-time Laver Cup competitor and the event\u2019s all-time leading points scorer, Zverev returns to London with unfinished business after last year\u2019s defeat in San Francisco \u2013 the first Laver Cup loss of his career.<\/p>\n

The German had previously been part of Team Europe\u2019s title-winning teams in Prague (2017), Chicago (2018), Geneva (2019), Boston (2021) and Berlin (2024), establishing himself as one of the most influential performers in the competition\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Zverev also returns to London, a city where he has enjoyed significant success, including winning the ATP Finals at The O2 in 2018. He has had a strong start to the 2026 season, reaching the Australian Open semifinals, where he was defeated in a five-set battle by teammate Alcaraz.<\/p>\n

\u201cI always love being part of the Laver Cup,\u201d said Zverev. \u201cThe team atmosphere is incredible, and the intensity is unlike anything else we play all year. London is a great tennis city and The O2 is one of the most special stadiums in the world for me and has already delivered some unforgettable moments for this event. I\u2019m excited to return and hopefully we can win the title back for Team Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Team Europe Captain Yannick Noah welcomed Zverev\u2019s return.<\/p>\n

\u201cSascha understands this competition as well as anyone,\u201d said Noah. \u201cHe\u2019s been part of all of Team Europe\u2019s Laver Cup victories over the years, and even in tough moments he\u2019s someone the team can rely on. His experience, leadership and competitiveness will be hugely important for us as we aim to win back the cup.\u201d<\/p>\n

Team World\u2019s top-ranked player and winner of last week\u2019s ATP 500 event in Rotterdam, de Minaur will compete in his third Laver Cup. Having been part of Team World\u2019s historic first title victory in London in 2022, he was pivotal again last year in San Francisco, where he won all three of his matches to help secure another victory for Team World.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaver Cup is one of the most intense and exciting weeks on the calendar,\u201d said de Minaur. \u201cPlaying in London in 2022 was a special moment for our team, and San Francisco showed what this group is capable of. I loved playing under Andre last year and I\u2019m really looking forward to getting back out there in London with him and the team.\u2019 \u00a0<\/p>\n

Agassi said de Minaur\u2019s impact in San Francisco reinforced why he is such a key figure within Team World.<\/p>\n

\u201cAlex is a fierce competitor and the consummate professional,\u201d said Agassi. \u201cOur week together in San Francisco gave me an even greater appreciation for him and what he brings to the team. I\u2019m extremely excited to have him back as a part of Team World.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 2026 edition marks the Laver Cup\u2019s return to London, the site of one of the most iconic moments in tennis history, when Roger Federer played the final match of his career at The O2 in 2022 alongside his great rival Rafael Nadal and fellow \u201cBig Four\u201d members Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.<\/p>\n

With Team World having claimed three of the last four Laver Cup titles, the rivalry between Europe and the World will reignite in front of a passionate London crowd. Fans can expect unrivaled matchups, never-before-seen doubles pairings and the world\u2019s biggest tennis stars joining forces as teammates in the ultimate team competition.<\/p>\n

In addition to the hospitality packages currently on sale, a range of ticket options will be available for sale starting next week:<\/p>\n

Full Tournament Ticket Packages, including the same seat for all five sessions of the tournament over three days, go on sale Friday, February 27 at 10:00AM (GMT).Multi-Session Ticket Packages, providing the same seat for two or more sessions of the tournament, go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10:00AM (GMT).Single-Session Tickets, for individual sessions go on sale Friday, May 15 at 10:00AM (GMT).<\/p>\n

Tickets will be sold via AXS, the official ticketing partner of The O2.<\/p>\n
