Hollywood star Jamie Foxx<\/a> brought his A-game to the tennis court this past weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

As the actor prepares to become a father for the third<\/a> time, Foxx, 58, cleared his head with an invigorating round of tennis in Westlake, California, on Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The round appeared to be quite the sweat-inducing battle for Foxx, who used his T-shirt as a makeshift towel at one point.<\/p>\n

And the match clearly brought out Foxx’s competitive side as he stood in ready position at the edge of the court, racket in hand, with determination on his face.\u00a0<\/p>\n

All the exercise must have produced some endorphins as Foxx was also seen flashing a pleased smile during a lull in the game.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Foxx for comment but has not yet heard back.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The game comes amid a major personal milestone for Foxx.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The actor and his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp are expecting their first child together, but for the actor, it will be his third child total.<\/p>\n

In May, sources confirmed to TMZ that Foxx and Huckstepp are ‘already several months along’ in their pregnancy journey, after rekindling their romance last year.<\/p>\n

The couple’s baby joy comes three years after Foxx almost died after he suffered a stroke caused by a bleed on the brain.<\/p>\n

Foxx is already a father to two daughters. He welcomed Corinne, now 32, in 1994 with ex Connie Kline.<\/p>\n

He shares Anelise, 17, with ex Kristin Grannis.<\/p>\n

Foxx and Huckstepp first sparked up a romance in 2023 following Foxx’s six-year relationship with Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes, 47, which came to an end in 2019.<\/p>\n

The Australian former fitness model and entrepreneur was a pillar of support to Foxx during his near-fatal health crisis later that year.<\/p>\n

Huckstepp ‘was totally there for him when he got sick, and they got very close after that,’ a source told In Touch in March 2024.<\/p>\n

Back in January 2025, a source close to Foxx told PEOPLE that he and Huckstepp were no longer together after dating for a year and a half.<\/p>\n

However, three months later in April, they ramped up reconciliation rumors on a public outing together.<\/p>\n

The couple’s baby joy comes three years after Foxx was rushed to A&E in April 2023 after suffering a mystery ‘medical complication,’ which his family decided to keep private at the time.<\/p>\n

In December 2024, Foxx revealed exactly what happened to him and admitted he lost 20 days’ worth of memory and was unable to walk amid his terrifying health battle.<\/p>\n

During an emotional scene on his Netflix special, What Had Happened Was… he recalled: ‘On April 11, I was having a bad headache, and I asked my boy for Aspirin.<\/p>\n

‘I realised quickly that when you’re in a medical emergency, your boys don’t know what the f**k to do.’<\/p>\n

Foxx then confessed: ‘I don’t remember 20 days.’<\/p>\n

Becoming emotional, Foxx broke down in tears as he declared to the audience that he was ‘back’, adding: ‘You don’t know how good this feels.’<\/p>\n

The Hollywood star went on to admit it’s still ‘a mystery’ what led to his brain bleed, adding: ‘We still don’t know exactly what happened to me.’<\/p>\n

After starting his sentence with ‘What had happened was,’ Foxx broke down in tears and was comforted by the applauding audience.<\/p>\n

He continued: ‘Your life doesn’t flash before you. It was kind of oddly peaceful. I saw the tunnel, but I didn’t see the light. It was hot in that tunnel.’<\/p>\n

Foxx then quipped: ‘S**t, am I going to the wrong place?’<\/p>\n

The Oscar-winning actor credited his sister Deidra with ‘saving his life’ after she drove him to Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital, where he underwent a life-saving procedure.<\/p>\n

Addressing why his family wanted to keep details of his health scare to themselves, he said: ‘I was dizzy from the stroke, so my head would bob around, and my family thought everyone would “meme the f***” out of me.”‘<\/p>\n

Foxx went on to reveal that he vividly remembers waking up from his coma on May 4, and being unable to walk.<\/p>\n

He recalled: ‘When I woke up, I found myself in a wheelchair. I couldn’t walk.’<\/p>\n

Yet Foxx didn’t want to believe he’d had a stroke and recounted his therapist telling him about his ego: ‘You need to kill the old Jamie so the new Jamie can thrive.’<\/p>\n
