Bridget Huberty suffered her first loss of the season in a marathon match at No. 4, falling 6-4, 3-6, 10-8.<\/p>\n<p>Monticello needed to win two of the three doubles matches to defeat Litchfield and did just that.<\/p>\n<p>Jayden Larson and Taylor Marcus fell 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles, but the Magic won at No. 1 and No. 3 in dramatic fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Lyla Tice and Hope Vergin lost the opening set 6-2 at No. 1 doubles before answering with a 6-3 victory in the second. The pair then won the super tiebreaker 10-3.<\/p>\n<p>At No. 3 doubles, Layla Cheney and Autumn Montgomery dropped the opening set 7-5 before rallying to win the second 6-3. The Monticello pair prevailed 10-8 in the super tiebreaker to secure the team victory.<\/p>\n<p>The Magic faced New London-Spicer later that day and rolled to a 7-0 win. Monticello did not drop a set in any of the seven matches.<\/p>\n<p>Wiley won 6-3, 6-2, while Holker made quick work of her opponent 6-1, 6-1. Molly Huberty and Bridget Huberty each earned 6-1, 6-0 victoriesHeal.<\/p>\n<p>Monticello adjusted its doubles lineup against New London-Spicer. Vergin and Marcus won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, while Tice and Cheney posted a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2.
