{"id":22926,"date":"2026-07-01T02:19:26","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T02:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/turkiye\/22926\/"},"modified":"2026-07-01T02:19:26","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T02:19:26","slug":"solar-output-in-turkiye-hits-fresh-peak-as-summer-demand-grows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/turkiye\/22926\/","title":{"rendered":"Solar output in T\u00fcrkiye hits fresh peak as summer demand grows"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s solar electricity generation reached its highest level of the year on Monday, according to industry data.<\/p>\n<p>The daily output totaled 193,695 megawatt-hours (MWh), the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIA\u015e) figures showed on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The previous solar electricity record was set on June 24 at 186,488 MWh.<\/p>\n<p>The surge signals the beginning of a summer record streak.<\/p>\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;s installed electricity capacity rose to 125,410 megawatts (MW) as of the end of April, driven by a rapid growth in renewable sources such as solar and wind. Renewables accounted for 62.5% of that.<\/p>\n<p>Solar energy has been the fastest-growing segment, having reached 26,769 MW and accounting for 21.3% of total installed capacity.
