\u00a0Srinagar, Aug 10 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir mixed martial arts fighter Owais Yaqoob is eyeing his next bout in Istanbul, Turkey, after securing the biggest victory of his career earlier this month in Bulgaria.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Yaqoob stopped previously unbeaten Bulgarian fighter Delyan Georgiev by technical knockout in the opening round of their 68-kg catchweight bout at BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) 107 in Burgas.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Speaking to news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS), Yaqoob said he was happy with the response to his victory and thanked those who had congratulated him and appreciated his performance.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI am feeling very good. Everyone is congratulating me and appreciating me. This is just the beginning of our success. We will not stop,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cOur focus is again on the next fight. We are going to have a fight in Turkey and Istanbul,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The fighter said his latest victory was the result of considerable sacrifice and hard work.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI have sacrificed a lot for that. When you get that moment, it feels very good,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Yaqoob also urged young people in Jammu and Kashmir to take up sports and channel their energy into positive activities.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cMy message to the youth is to take action on anything. Join sports. Join your friends and family. Positive energy affects you a lot,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
