A BODY has been found in the search for a missing young man.
Daniel Mrimi, 20, vanished from the Morningside Road area of Edinburgh at around 12.50pm on Monday, June 1.

A search was launched for the lad, who was originally from Glenrothes in Fife.
But police have now confirmed a body has been discovered.
While formal identification is yet to take place, Daniel’s family has been informed.
Cops say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The body of a man has been found during searches for a missing man in Edinburgh.
“He is yet to be formally identified, however, the family of 20-year-old Daniel Mrimi, who was reported missing on Monday, 1 June, 2026, has been informed.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Meanwhile, officers are desperately hunting for Paul Robertson, 58, who disappeared from Blinkbonny Road in Edinburgh at around 3.30pm today.

Cops have warned that Paul is vulnerable and say his sudden disappearance is “out of character”.
Paul is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, with a slim build and short, brown hair.
When he was last seen, he was wearing a blue polo shirt and brown chinos.
Inspector Gavin McNeill said: “Paul’s family and friends have been trying to contact him today but no-one has heard back from him and they are understandably concerned. He is usually in touch with them and not to respond is very out of character.
“Paul may be heading to the Pentland Hills area and enjoys visiting the Harlaw Reservoir area so I would ask members of the public using that area to be aware of Paul’s image and keep a look out for him.”
