Largie Ramazani will return to Leeds United this summer after his Valencia loan concluded, with the Whites now needing to decide what awaits for the winger.

United’s transfer strategy over the summer is likely to be aided by whichever players on the fringes of Daniel Farke’s squad can secure moves away.

Letting those players go could free up further room in the budget for more ambitious signings. Largie Ramazani’s future, as is already speculated, is going to come under fresh scrutiny.

Largie Ramazani reacts to end of Valencia loan as Leeds United return looms

Farke’s decision on casting Ramazani out on loan to Valencia initially looked like it was vindicated as he struggled in the first half of 25/26.

However, he enjoyed a brilliant resurgence in 2026, scoring six La Liga goals under Carlos Corberan. In turn, he became a popular figure amongst the Mestalla fanbase.

With Valencia ending the campaign sitting ninth, Ramazani’s loan concludes with him now set to return to pre-season with Leeds. Since, he has posted on Instagram thanking Valencia for his time back in the Spanish top flight.

“Mestalla. Thank You,” Ramazani wrote.

Interestingly, Valencia teammate Javi Guerra commented on Ramazani’s post: “Se queda,” he wrote, which translates to ‘he stays’.

Valencia jet to England to discuss Leeds United, Largie Ramazani permanent transfer

While the Whites are expecting to see Ramazani in pre-season when players return in July, talks appear to be ongoing between the two clubs.

That’s according to Tribuna Deportiva, who claim that Valencia CEO Ron Gourlay has flown to the UK in order to progress talks with Leeds over Ramazani’s permanent transfer.

It’s unclear how much Leeds are looking to sell Ramazani for at this stage, or even if the club are willing to cash in. Importantly, Leeds did not include a buy option in the winger’s Valencia loan, seemingly in order to re-assess his situation upon his return in July.

Meanwhile, Norwich City have shortlisted Ramazani as they look to commit a “significant” sum to signing a new winger.

Leeds United should re-assess Largie Ramazani before committing to transfer exit

Given our continued restructuring this summer to establish ourselves back in the Premier League, I wouldn’t be making a hasty decision on Ramazani.

There’s every chance we sell Willy Gnonto, and that leaves us with no depth behind Noah Okafor on the left wing. Ramazani would be a solid backup to the Swiss winger.

However, if Valencia are willing to put up serious money for the winger, then that changes the landscape quite drastically.

At the end of the day, no one’s going to lose that much sleep if Ramazani leaves. But, we need to ensure we either get good money for him, or reintegrate him to get some worth out of his obvious talents.
