OPPO Watch X3 switches from its stainless steel case to a titanium alloy one (and a redesigned internal structure), resulting in a lighter weight – 43g, compared to the Watch X2’s 49.7g. The MIL-STD-810H standard, 5ATM water resistance rating, and IP68 rating stay, but it’s now also IP69-rated. Features include ECG monitoring for cardiovascular tracking, and a 60-second Wellness Overview which assess 10 health indicators to provide insight on your heart health, sleep quality, and mental well-being. The watch can also track over a hundred different types of workouts.

The latest Xiaomi smartwatch combines its generous 46mm watch face with a light 46g weight. It also offers genuine leather aside from its usual straps. The device has a 1.48-inch AMOLED display, a 40% narrower bezel, higher 2,500-nits peak brightness, and can offer up to 21 days of battery life with light use. New to the watch (and to us) is Passion Mode that records cheering gestures using heart rate, calories burned, and cheer counts.

Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro
Huawei’s Watch Fit 5 series comes in regular and Pro variants. The Pro one has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits (regular version gets 2,500 nits). It also has a larger 1.92-inch display (up from 1.82-inch). Pro also gets additiona; Precision Golfing (17,000 global course vector maps), Green View, and Trail Running, powered by its Huawei Sunflower Positioning System for accuracy. There’s also an ECG monitoring tool, using Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis to check for signs of A-Fib and premature heartbeat.

The Garmin Forerunner 170 comes with Garmin Pay (its payment communicator) and deeper running insights (stride length, cadence), plus 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode (20 hours with GPS enabled). All these are added on top of the core benefits, like an AMOLED display, Pulse Oxygen sensor (SpO2) and Daily Suggested Workouts that change based on how well you slept and recovered. Note that there’s a Music variant (which costs more) that adds on-wrist memory storage for hard-hitting songs and tracks.

The Classic variant of the Galaxy Watch8 series by Samsung is fundamentally similar to the regular version, but with a rotating bezel for menu scrolling and a quintissential watch design. Perks of using this Wear OS 6 smartwatch are all intact, and this upgrade adds in the first Sleep Apnea detection that’s not only approved for use in Singapore, but also the first Galaxy Watch to get it here. We’ve also reviewed the smartwatch and found it has great battery life.
