M62 traffic RECAP as all lanes held following crash

Traffic was at a standstill on the M62 after a crash near Rochdale this evening (Sunday, June 7).

The stoppage occurred following the incident that took place westbound on the motorway between junction 22 and junction 21 near Milnrow.

Traffic monitoring tool, Inrix, says: “All traffic being temporarily held due to accident on M62 Westbound between J22 A672 (Rishworth Moor) and J21 A6193 Sir Isaac Newton Way (Milnrow).”

Shortly before 11pm, Inrix confirmed only one lane remained closed.
