A man has been arrested after two people were attacked in Timperley. Officers attended Stockport Road following reports of an assault on Monday afternoon (June 8).
Police arrived, where a man was promptly detained and arrested on suspicion of assault. Two victims were left with minor injuries.
A cordon was raised raised outside an Iceland store on the street. The M.E.N understands the victims suffered slash wounds.

A spokesperson for GMP said: “Officers were called to reports of an assault on Stockport Road, Timperley at around 12:47pm this afternoon (Monday 8 June).
“A man was quickly detained and arrested at 12:54pm on suspicion of assault.
“Two victims sustained minor injuries. Enquires remain ongoing.”
