Glasgow Italian institution Eusebi has opened a new bakery counter at Bonnie & Wild in Edinburgh.

Established in 1954, Eusebi is one of Glasgow’s best-known Italian restaurants, known for its pasta, pastries, dolci, Italian roasted coffee and warm hospitality. The new opening brings the family-run business to the capital, with a daily selection of handmade pastries, cakes and classic Italian desserts. All products will be made from scratch by Eusebi’s bakery team and delivered daily to Bonnie & Wild.

Giovanna Eusebi said, “The new Eusebi offering at Bonnie & Wild marks a new chapter of the Eusebi story. For guests to Bonnie & Wild, this is an exciting opportunity to experience the bakery, craftsmanship and everyday Italian rituals that have been at the heart of Eusebi’s success since we first started trading several decades ago.

“The collaboration with Bonnie & Wild, with their focus on sustainable sourcing, high quality produce and passion for family-friendly hospitality are all ingredients that we found difficult to resist and I’m really excited about joining Bonnie & Wild’s iconic Scottish Marketplace.”

Ryan Barrie, Bonnie & Wild’s Managing Director, said, “Eusebi’s Deli is one of Scotland’s most loved Italian institutions. It’s an amazing business run by brilliant people who are passionate about the products they make and sell, and the warm Italian hospitality they provide. I think Eusebi are a perfect fit for Bonnie & Wild, complementing the amazing line-up we now have with our new arrivals Flùr pizza and Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah, which only opened last month. I think the depth and breadth of the menus on offer at Bonnie & Wild means we truly showcase the incredible range of food and drink produced in Scotland – something we can all be proud of.”

Eusebi joins Bonnie & Wild following the recent arrivals of chef Ivan Stein’s Flùr pizza bar and BBC Saturday Kitchen chef Julie Lin’s Tacos Lah.
