Police have launched a manhunt following a “serious assault” on an Airdrie street.
Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Luing, around 12.30am on Thursday, June 11.
A 45-year-old man was rushed to hospital for treatment. His condition has not been confirmed.
The suspect has been described as a white man, in his mid-twenties, of slim build, and with dark hair. Anyone with information has been urged to come forward.
Detective Constable Martin Daly said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage to review this and come forward if it captured anything that could assist our enquiries.”
