A Carluke mum has transformed her home into a fantastic Barbie Dreamhouse.
Nicole Watt, 28, decided to go big for the Carluke & District Gala Day, and inspired by her three daughters’ Ariah, eight, Aryn and Ayda, both five, love of Barbie, she decided to turn her home bright pink after lots of planning.
Her Unitas Crescent home has now become a bit of an attraction, with locals still paying a visit for pictures on Sunday morning, despite the Gala taking place yesterday.
The mum-of-three told Glasgow Live: “Because I have twin girls, it was hard because they don’t have the same personalities at all.
“So we had to compromise and find something they both really liked, so they went for Barbie Dreamhouse – but they said they wanted it to be one they could live in.
“In the lead-up, their papa and gran made the palm trees, and surf boards with their names on them and they’re dad came along to build it.
“We had to do it in three stages and even needed scaffolding to get it up.
“The girls were so amazed when it was complete, they think it’s great and have been playing with ever since.
“They’re loving life and have been telling me they don’t want it to go.”

Thankfully for anyone wanting to pay a visit, Nicole’s Dreamhouse will remain in place for a little longer this week, as she awaits scaffolding to take it back down.
Nicole added: “In the Gala lots of people came round to see it, and even more folk today.
“It took us a week to make, but the lead up has been about six months and it’s exactly the way they want it.
“The neighbours are all so impressed too and have put up pink bunting up to go along with it.”
