Traffic is heavy on two stretches of the M62 motorway this morning amid multiple crashes.
Two lanes were initially closed off on the eastbound side of the motorway up to the Eccles Interchange. The lanes were shut from junction 11 to junction 12, according to traffic alert service Inrix.
One lane now remains closed with long delays and four-mile queues up to the incident. Two lanes are also closed off on a westbound stretch of the motorway near junction 19 for Heywood, with traffic slow up to the closure.
