Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe – The German team has signed Remco Evenepoel this winter. The Olympic champion and last year’s third place – and youth classification leader – Florian Lipowitz take aim at rivaling Tadej Pogacar and Jonas Vingegaard.
Bahrain – Victorious – After a Giro spent in the spotlight, Bahrain now aims for the GC once again at the Tour, with Antonio TIberi and Lenny Martínez sharing the leadership.
Uno-X Mobility – Last year Tobias Johannessen rode to a Top10 result and Jonas Abrahamsen won a stage. In 2026 the two return in a stage-focused team which also includes Magnus Cort Nielsen, Soren Waerenskjold and Torstein Traeen.
NSN Cycling Team – The Swiss team s led by Biniam Girmay who aims to win a Tour de France sprint for the first time since 2024.
Pinarello – Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team – One of the Tour’s wildcard invites has been given to Tom Pidcock’s team, who leads an ambitious GC hunt whilst also pursuing stage wins.
Lidl-Trek – A diverse team which features Juan Ayuso as the team’s main GC contender; whilst the likes of Mads Pedersen, Giulio Ciccone, Mattias Skjelmose and Quinn Simmons are all tasked with winning stages.
Alpecin – Premier Tech – The Belgian team brings their three leaders once more into the Tour, featuring classics specialist Mathieu van der Poel and the sprinter duo Jasper Philipsen and Kaden Groves.
Team Jayco AlUla – Jayco has Michael Matthews, Mauro Schmid, Luke Plapp, Ben O’Connor and Pascal Ackermann all lined up in a team that will be looking for stage wins.
Caja Rural – Seguros RGA – The Spanish team was the surprise invite for this year’s Tour. It will aim for a stage win, which would be a major success. The likes of Fernando Gaviria, Sebastian Berwick and José Felix Parra headline its ambitions.
Netcompany INEOS – The British team will, if health allows, have Kévin Vauquelin, Oscar Onley, Carlos Rodríguez and Thymen Arensman all in the race with a role that can vary between GC and stage hunting depending on their for

EF Education-EasyPost – The American outfit will chase stage wins with the likes of Ben Healy and Alex Baudin; whilst Richard Carapaz might do the same or pursue a GC result.
XDS Astana Team – Stage wins and the KOM jersey will be the big goal for the Kazakh team, with its multiple leaders.
Team Picnic PostNL – The Dutch team will hope for Pavel Bittner’s recovery in order to have a set leader for the Tour. It will otherwise aim for stage wins from he breakaways.
Lotto-Intermarché – After a Giro that has ended in disaster, Arnaud de Lie and Lennert van Eetvelt take to the start of the Tour in hopes of winning a stage.
Team Visma | Lease a Bike – The Dutch team will be UAE’s biggest rival on paper, led by Giro d’Italia winner Jonas Vingegaard. Matteo Jorgenson, Wout Van Aert and Sepp Kuss will all be part of a luxurious support crew.

Soudal – Quick-Step – Quick-Step will aim for the sprints with Tim Merlier as a priority; whilst providing freedom for its climbers such as Mikel Landa, Ilan van Wilder and Valentin Paret-Peintre.
UAE Team Emirates – XRG – The defending champions are led by Tadej Pogacar, who aims for another yellow jersey. Isaac del Toro, Tim Wellens and Florian Vermeersch will be amongst his domestiques.
Groupama – FDJ United – One of the ‘home’ teams will aim for a stage win, hoping for the likes of Romain Grégoire, David Gaudu or Guillaume Martin to deliver on the difficult terrain.
Cofidis – Cofidis was a wildcard invite for the race, with varying ambitions in most terrains featuring leaders such as Ion Izagirre, Alex Aranburu and Milan Fretin.
Movistar Team – Movistar will back up Cian Uijtdebroeks for the overall classification whilst the likes of Iván Romeo and Pablo Castrillo will be contenders for breakaway wins.
TotalEnergies – The French team had a Top10 with Jordan Jegat last year, this time around he and Anthony Turgis lead a stage-focused lineup.
Tudor Pro Cycling Team – Julian Alaphilippe, Michael Storer and Matteo Trentin headline the team’s goal to win a stage.
