A new shop is set to open on Birmingham New Street following the closure of Claire’s Accessories.
Signs have appeared at the shop showing Bird and Blend intends to take the space next door to Size? on the busy street.
Bird and Blend is a tea shop known for its range of flavourful loose leaf teas, matcha and tea bags.

It also sells accessories including tea bottles, teapots, strainers and matcha tools.
Elsewhere on New Street, Maki and Ramen is making its move into King Edward House on the lower section of the street.
At the top end, there are plans for the old Boojum unit, with Chopstix putting in a planning application to transform the front with its signage.
At the time of writing, Bird and Blend has not yet shared information on when the new unit might open, but it’s believed it may well be before the month is out.
The unit next door, Lloyds Bank, is currently closed for renovation but it is gearing up to reopen on Monday, July 6.
Claire’s moved out of the New Street unit back in April following the firm’s collapse into administration.
Its Bullring store closed too and the replacement for that unit was revealed this week too.
Australian jewellery brand Harli and Harpa has put up signage on that empty unit, a couple of doors down from Lovisa.
The founder of Lovisa went on to set up Harli and Harpa and both are known for their inexpensive jewellery.
