Three people have so far been arrested during an anti-racist protest in Birmingham city centre.
It comes as Britain First and counter demos have taken place in the city centre.
West Midlands Police has now confirmed that three people were detained in vicinity of Victoria Square and Centenary Square.

Police said counter-protestors had attempted to break police lines.

One person was held on suspicion of assaulting police and another on suspicion of assault. A third was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
The trio remain in custody.
A police spokeswoman told BirminghamLive: “We still have a significant police presence in Birmingham, due to a protest and counter-protest taking place in the city centre.
“To prevent disorder, officers are keeping the two protest groups apart.
“Earlier, counter-protestors attempted to break police lines.
“They were kept back and reminded that we are keeping the groups apart in the interests of public safety.
“Three people have been arrested from the counter-protest, one on suspicion of assaulting police, another on suspicion of assault, and another on suspicion of criminal damage.
“We are continually reviewing video footage as part of our policing operation.”

Assistant chief constable Sarah Burton said: “Our officers police without fear or favour, which means we uphold the law impartially and treat everybody fairly.
“We want to reassure all local communities that we understand how events such as those taking place this weekend could cause genuine fear and anxiety.
“Our primary job is to protect the public from harm, and whilst we are legally obliged to facilitate people’s rights to protest, we are clear that any behaviour or speech that crosses into criminality will be dealt with appropriately.
“West Midlands Police is experienced in policing large gatherings, including protests, and significant resources are in place as we work alongside our city partners to ensure local people, businesses, and visitors, can go about their day with minimum disruption.
“Local officers will be on hand to help as usual in the city centre, and I would urge anyone with concerns about this weekend to speak to them.”
