A charity has blasted ‘despicable’ thieves who broke into and ransacked a Birmingham shop.
The criminals caused thousands of pounds worth of damage after they smashed into the Headway store on Harborne High Street on June 16.
They rummaged through the shop and grabbed a laptop and donation tin.

The charity, which helps people rebuild their lives following brain injury, said the front door was considerably damaged.
Now charity staff estimate the cost to replace the laptop and glass front door will cost in the region of £3000.

They also lost a day’s takings after they closed the next day for the clear-up operation.
David Byrne, Head of Retail at Headway UK, said: “We are all absolutely devastated.
“We were forced to close the store on Tuesday and have also lost a days trading on Wednesday as well.
“It was distressing to our team, who work really hard to make the shop a welcoming space, with each sale powering vital services to support brain injury survivors.
“We’re gutted to have had our laptop stolen, which helps us process stock and inventory.
“It is difficult to believe that someone could be so cruel as to vandalise and steal from a charity shop.”
