Two lanes of the M60 are closed this afternoon (June 22) following a multi-vehicle collision on the carriageway, National Highways have said.
Lanes 2 and 3 are shut on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 25 (Brinnington) and 24 (Denton Island) this afternoon following the accident, first reported at about 1:30pm.
Highways England have said that recovery is en route to the scene but there are delays of up to 40 minutes through the area with around three miles of congestion on approach.
