A man has been arrested after reports of an assault in a Southside residential street.
According to reports from local residents, two ambulances and a number of police cars were seen on Blaeloch Drive, Castlemilk, early on Friday morning.
Police confirmed they had attended the scene after reports of an assault, and said a 42-year old man had been arrested.
There was no information given on the victim of the assault or how severe their injuries were.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.35am on Friday, 26 June, 2026, officers received a report of an assault in the Blaeloch Drive area of Glasgow.
“A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 29 June, 2026.”
