I’m talking about Africa and the Far East, America and Britain. The world is progressing by and large in a very positive way. For example, gay rights and the rights of minority groups in Britain — we are this wonderful mix of black people, Indian people, Pakistani people, people from all over the world and nobody thinks twice about it. That’s one of the beauties of this country. There are obviously hiccups and what’s happened in America in the past four months has been — in my opinion — a step backwards; we’ve just got to hope that stability can come back to the world.”
