A man who was stabbed in Failsworth one week ago remains in a critical condition in hospital, Greater Manchester Police says. An investigation is ongoing after the man was attacked on Hale Lane last Friday evening (June 19).
The incident left the man fighting for his life. He remains in hospital for treatment today (June 26), GMP says. Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident over the past week.
Two men, aged 19 and 46, were arrested on suspicious of grievous bodily harm at an address on Firdale Road, Moston, later on Friday night. A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Saturday evening after he handed himself in at Ashton-under-Lyne police station.

And a 45-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft and assault in connection with the investigation on Monday. All four suspects have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
