A passenger was chased off a train by a man wielding a knife, police have said.
The incident happened on a train service between Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury on Friday, May 2.
On the 11.06am service, the train was approaching Bath Spa when the incident happened.
Between 11.10am and 11.30am, a man began arguing with the male victim.
As the train approached Bath Spa station, the man approached the victim and threatened to stab him.

He proceeded to rummage through the victim’s bag.
A fight broke out between the two men before the victim fell and suffered an injury above his right eye.
The victim subsequently fled the train at Bath Spa.
He was pursued by a man who was now brandishing a knife.

It is believed he may have information that could help the investigation.
The man pictured is seen wearing a black t-shirt and black hat.
