A man has died following a serious two-vehicle crash in Co Antrim on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to Chapel Road in Cushendall shortly after 1pm on June 28 following the collision and the road was closed for a number of hours.
A 55-year-old from the Bellaghy area of Co Derry, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detective Inspector Stewart, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Shortly before 1pm, police received and responded to a report of a two vehicle collision on the Chapel Road.
“Colleagues from other emergency services were also in attendance. Sadly, the male rider of a motorcycle, who was 55 years old, and from the Bellaghy area, died at the scene.
“The Chapel Road, which was closed in both directions as enquiries were conducted, has now re-opened to motorists.
“Enquiries remain ongoing this morning, and we are appealing to anyone with information about the collision, or who has dash-cam footage of what happened, to contact police using our witness appeal form at https://reporting.psni.police.uk/appeals quoting reference 863 28/06/26, or call us on 101.”
