Police have issued an appeal to trace three males after three people were stabbed amid a violent street brawl in Rusholme.
A fight erupted on Wilmslow Road at around 10.15pm on Saturday evening (June 28), police said. Officers arrived on the scene and found three men, aged 27, 28 and 30, with ‘knife-injuries’.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on Monday night on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm. He has been bailed pending further investigations.

An investigation into the violent assault is ongoing, with police assessing CCTV and witness footage. Officers now want to speak to the three males pictured.
Anyone who recognises them, or who has any information, is being urged to get in touch. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said ‘at this stage, there is no indication of a wider threat to the general public’.

The men hurt in the incident did not suffer life-threatening or life-changing injuries, the spokesperson added. Detective Inspector Seán McFadden, from GMP’s City of Manchester district said: “This was a violent incident that left three men with injuries, and we are determined to identify everyone involved.
“Our officers responded quickly on the night, and we are progressing a thorough investigation, with CCTV footage and witness accounts already secured. We understand incidents like this can cause concern in the community, and I want to reassure the people that there is no wider threat to the public.

“However, it is vital we establish exactly what happened and bring those responsible to justice. The three men pictured are believed to have important information, and we are asking for the public’s help to identify them.
