Joe Rodon has been excellent once again for Leeds United this season, so Illan Meslier making errors wouldn’t have left him too happy.

Rodon has been a stalwart for Daniel Farke, and it will no doubt be frustrating for him to find Leeds in this position.

Even though Rodon owed Meslier one for saving the penalty he gave away, the errors leading to goals didn’t exactly leave the centre-back glowing.

It seemed like all Leeds United players were in disbelief at Meslier, and the Frenchman certainly has some making up to do.

But it’s what Rodon was spotted doing after the equaliser that fans have looked into.

It won’t be easy for Meslier, who will feel like the entire fanbase is on his back.

Goalkeeper is certainly the most criticised position, but Meslier doesn’t help matters.

You’d think that after six seasons at the club, there would be a change, and surely that will be the case this summer.

Leeds wanted to sell Meslier in January, and this now seems like more of a missed opportunity, and Rodon would agree with that.

Whites fans have spoken on X about the last-minute howler, and a picture of the defender has emerged.

@lufcThommo posted an image of Rodon staring down in fury at Meslier after the mistake, saying: “Says it all!”

In agreement, @kennybrown1964 put: “It does, doesn’t it”

@GravPa explained: “Rodon knows. The back four knows. The entire squad knows. Just Farke, that apparently doesn’t. Will cost Farke his job and the club promotion and countless millions of pounds. How can so so many see what’s obvious, yet those ‘with power’ not? Staggering.”

@Daleeboy2012 got Deja vu, suggesting: “I feel like I’ve seen this photo a lot this year…”

@michaelgovan17 agreed, saying: Not the first time he’s looked at Meslier like that, and who can blame him.

@Malcolm54729996 reiterated the point: “This says it all !!!”

Rodon has certainly proven he could compete at Premier League level, and would hope to do so with Leeds next season.

However, with Meslier’s errors and the team falling apart in recent weeks, the Welshman may have no other choice but look for the chance to play top flight football elsewhere next season.

The 27-year-old has now had two seasons in the second tier and is in his prime age so it’s clear the Premier League is the target.

His move to Leeds shows he admires the club, as Rodon rejected Premier League interest to join Leeds.

This might not be the case this summer, and gives more reason why Leeds need to achieve their goal this time around.
