A road has been closed in Leeds while the police deal with an incident in the area.

According to the traffic management system, Inrix, Harehills Road in Leeds has been closed in the northbound direction. This is between Bayswater Road and Ashton Street.

West Yorkshire Police are currently on the scene dealing with an incident in the area. This has been ongoing since around 8.55am.

The police have been contacted for comment. INRIX said: “Harehills Road Northbound closed, slow traffic due to police incident from Bayswater Road to Ashton Street. Note change of location. The closure has been shortened.”
