Roundhay Park in Leeds, West Yorkshire, will transform into a music festival for three days this weekend

A brand new festival is set to take place in Leeds this weekend set to see performances from the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Pitbull and Jason Derulo.
American Express presents Roundhay Festival is set to get underway on Friday, July 3, at Roundhay Park in Leeds, West Yorkshire, for the first time ever.
The West Yorkshire beauty spot will be transformed into a festival for three days of music – Pitbull, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Lil Jon, Los Tuscanes de Tijuana and Jazzie Martian are to take to the main stage on Friday, while Lewis Capaldi, Conan Gray, Jessie Murph, Jacob Alon, Kerr Mercer, Nieve Ella and Maya Lane are to perform on Saturday.

The event will finish on Sunday with a day of orchestral performances from the likes of Halle Orchestra, Alfie Boe and an afterparty with DJ Yoda.

- 8.50pm: Pitbull

Saturday
- 8.50pm: Lewis Capaldi
- 6.50pm: Conan Gray
- 5.15pm: Jessie Murph
- 3.50pm: Jacob Alon
- 2.50pm: Kerr Mercer
Sunday
- 3.30pm: All Things Orchestral (Hallé Orchestra with special guest Alfie Boe and host Myleene Klass)

How to get to Roundhay Festival
Shuttle bus
There will be a city centre shuttle service taking place throughout the weekend starting from 11am each morning. Pick-up will be on Sovereign Street and drop off will be outside of Leeds Train Station.
It will cost £4.50 for a single journey and must be paid by card – organisers have warned cash payments cannot be accepted.
Shuttle timetable:
- Approximately every 20 minutes from Sovereign Street between 11am – 8pm
- The last shuttle from Roundhay Park to the City Centre is expected to depart at approximately 00:30
Park and Stride
Fearnville Park and Stride is located a scenic two mile (or 30-minute walk) away from Roundhay Festival.
Parking is available on grass fields, and the walking route is a country path. ANPR systems will operate to ensure pre-booked cars receive priority access.
Bookings can be made up until 9am on the morning of each event. Payment on the day can be made by card only; cash payments are not accepted. All bookings are subject to terms and conditions.
On-site parking
The closest parking for Roundhay Festival is at Connaught Fields, a 10-minute walk across grass paths to the festival’s West Entrance. ANPR systems will operate to ensure pre-booked cars receive priority access.

Big Green Coach
Big Green Coach is running services from outside of Leeds which can be booked online.

Train
Customers who arrive at Leeds Train Station can then use the City Centre Shuttle service, via Sovereign Street, for the quickest and most direct access to and from the Roundhay Festival.
Taxis
Taxis are available just outside of Leeds Train Station, on Princes Square, however festival goers are encouraged to use the dedicated festival City Centre Shuttle for the quickest access to the event.
Important rules
No re-admission
There is no re-admission to Roundhay Festival after entry. Festival attendees must plan ahead because once you’re in, you’re in.
Fully standing event
It is a fully standing event, no seats or chairs are allowed to be brought in, including seat sticks and inflatable seats.
No food or drink to be brought in
No food or drink is permitted to be brought into American Express presents Roundhay Festival (with the exception of water in containers of up to 500ml, and baby food where not in glass containers).
Bag rules
Bags larger than A4 (297mm x 210mm x 210mm) will not be permitted. There are no luggage storage facilities at the event. You can leave your bags at one of Stasher’s luggage storage locations for up to 24 hours (insured by £750). The closest location is: 135 Easterly Rd, Roundhay, Leeds LS8 2TP.
