Drivers are being held on part of the M62 this morning following a crash near Rochdale.
Traffic has been stopped on the westbound carriageway at junction 21 for Milnrow.
Queues are building in the area.
Vehicles were briefly stopped in both directions, but the eastbound carriageway has since reopened.
Motorists are being warned to expect disruption.
