Police received reports of a child getting into difficulty in water

A three-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after getting into difficulty in the water at Bryngarw Country Park in Bridgend.
Emergency services were called to the park at around 2.40pm on Saturday, July 4, following reports that a child had entered a body of water and got into difficulty.

The boy, who is from the Newport area, was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Officers at South Wales Police confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
