Reports suggest a deal has been agreed for Kamil Conteh to leave the Gas

Kamil Conteh is set to leave Bristol Rovers with reports that an unnamed League One club have agreed a deal with sign the midfielder
Journalist Pete O’Rouke posted on his Twitter account that a deal to sign the midfielder had been agreed.
Last month, the Gas turned down two approaches from League One clubs for midfielder Kamil Conteh, who was made available for transfer or loan by the club in early May. But now it appears that his valuation has been meet and the 23-year-old, who was transfer-listed by Steve Evans ahead of this season, is set to depart.
“An unnamed League One club have agreed a deal with Bristol Rovers for midfielder Kamil Conteh,” wrote O’Rourke.

Conteh joined the Gas in January 2024 and put in a number of bright performances in the second half of the 2023/24 campaign.
He continued to impress in the following season before an injury on Boxing Day in 2024 led to a diagnosis of osteomyelitis in his foot. This rare bone infection meant he missed the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign.
Conteh returned to the starting lineup at the beginning of the 2025/26 season, but Rovers struggled under Clarke, with the club legend sacked in mid-December.
The 23-year-old started the first five league games under Evans, but after the 1-0 home defeat against Colchester United, he didn’t return to the starting eleven.
Conteh then moved to Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season, playing 24 minutes on the final day as the Imps won League One.
