A vehicle fire sent thick plumes of black smoke into the air in a residential area of Port Talbot as emergency services rushed to the scene.
The incident happened in Princess Margaret Way in Aberavon, Sandfields, on Tuesday afternoon.
Images from the scene showed a vehicle engulfed in flames while nearby residents watched as smoke billowed high above surrounding homes.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MWFRS) confirmed firefighters attended a vehicle fire in Princess Margaret Way.
The blaze was successfully extinguished, with no casualties or injuries reported.
Fire crews remained at the scene until around 5.30pm before leaving after ensuring the incident had been safely dealt with.

Saifur Rahaman, a witness to the incident, described how quickly the fire developed.
“The fire spread incredibly quickly from what appeared to be a stationary vehicle parked close to residential properties,” he told WalesOnline.
“It was concerning to see how rapidly the flames developed.
“I am pleased to say the emergency services responded very quickly.
“South Wales Police were first on the scene followed shortly by the fire service.
“Thankfully the swift actions of everyone involved helped ensure the situation was brought under control.”
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.
