A police team investigating a string of shop thefts in a Birmingham suburb has finally got their man.
Officers had been investigating several shop thefts and incidents of anti-social behaviour across the Fox and Goose area of Ward End.
They had a wanted man – David Walton – who was suspected of being involved.

The 37-year-old, of no fixed address, was arrested next door to a shop in Hodge Hill on Monday (July 13).
Neighbourhood teams quickly carried out further enquiries and Walton was charged with 13 shop theft offences.
He admitted the offences at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 7) and was immediately jailed for half a year (26 weeks).
