Weather permitting, there will be four mass ascents over the course of the event, starting on the Friday evening and finishing on Sunday morning.
A spokesman for the event said: “In the UK, balloons can only fly early in the morning and in the evening when the weather and wind conditions are at their best and most stable with no thermal activity from the sun.
“Why not brave the 6am start and join us for breakfast and balloons!? Due to the nature of ballooning there is a degree of flexibility with the timings so please be patient, it will be worth the wait, our pilot’s really do want to fly!”
He added: “Should the weather not be in our favour for a free flight, we will try our best to put on a tethered or burner display. As always our commentary team will keep you up to date.”
