Brooklyn Beckham could reportedly be following in the footsteps of Prince Harry as he plans a “fightback” against his family, The Telegraph has reported. Over recent weeks, Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, are believed to be experiencing tension with Brooklyn’s family, including his parents David and Victoria Beckham.
While the couple have remained tight-lipped on the rumoured tension, Brooklyn and Nicola have left Brooklyn’s parents reportedly “blindsided” by some of the decisions they have recently made, including by attending a dinner where Prince Harry, 40, and his wife Meghan Markle, 43, were present. This has led to rumours that Brooklyn could follow in the footsteps of Harry, who is famously experiencing a major rift with his royal relatives, including the King and his estranged brother Prince William.
A source told The Telegraph that Brooklyn is “for the first time standing up against” his parents and “breaking generational trauma”. This is a similar phrase once used by Prince Harry himself, saying in 2021 that he left the UK and the Royal Family a year prior because he wanted to “break that cycle” of “genetic pain”.
