Manchester United and Ruben Amorim need all the help they can get as the most important games of the season take shape, but one help stands above everything else.

Amad’s injury, which looked season-ending at one point, came back from the brink, and the Ivorian looked set to return this season.

Ruben Amorim even appeared to confirm Amad’s return before the end of the season last month which sent pulses racing at Old Trafford.

The fans have now erupted after seeing Man Utd’s latest Amad injury update shared on social media. One word sums up the feeling.

The club’s injury slate is slowly clearing up at the best possible time and barring further setbacks, Amorim could feasibly have his full squad available soon, except Lisandro Martinez.

It would be poetic if the likes of Amad are available for a potential Europa League final after he played a huge role in bringing the club there.

If the club’s latest Amad injury update is anything to go by, that might very well be possible as the Ivorian was seen without a walking boot.

Amad was rehabbing in the gym, doing lifting and treadmill work as he starts to get strength back in his legs, something that bodes well for his return.

At current pace, he might be available for small minutes by mid-May, which would get him completely match fit by the time the Europa League final rolls around (no jinxing!).

Man Utd fans on Amad injury update

Needless to say, Amad has been a huge miss and with every game the team misses chances ad nauseam despite creating many, the spectre of his absence continues to grow.

Therefore, this injury update comes as a huge relief to the fanbase, with one word getting used repeatedly that sums up the feeling right now – “Happy”.

“I’m happy! We’re happy,” said one as another agreed, “So happy, man!”. “The starboy is back,” said a third as another hailed him, saying, “The best lad we’ve got is back.”

“Can’t wait to have him back,” said a fifth as a sixth lamented his absence, “We sure missed him a lot!”

Finally a fan put together the turning tide of injuries in one message, “I am alive again – Shaw, Mainoo, Amad, Ugarte, and Yoro!”.
